She was preceded in death by her parents, Hobart and Ella Elam; brothers, Leland and Bill Elam; and a great-granddaughter, Ansley Mae Smith. Surviving are a son, B. G. Jennings, Jr. and wife Sheila of Tarboro, NC; two daughters, Jennifer Kelly and husband Pat of Charlottesville, VA and Susan Smith and husband Gary of Wise, VA; grandchildren, Eric Smith, Celeste Smith, Michelle Hallahan, Ian Kelly and Michael Jennings; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Kathleen Jennings will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Rev. Philip Bates, Rev. Mike Winters and Rev.
