In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Eugene (Gene) Davidson, June, 2, 1988; three sisters, Chloe Cleo Smith, Izetta Smith and Nila Smith; two brothers, Rudolph and Ralph Smith.
Surviving are a son, Larry Gene Davidson, and daughter-in-law, Janet Davidson, Gate City; daughter, Janet D. Ketron, Kingsport; sister, Lorene Gillenwater, Gate City; grandchildren, Kim Davidson, Becky Ketron, Joe Davidson, Travis Ketron, Josh Ketron, Matthew Davidson; one great-grandchild due in June; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Colonial Funeral Home, Weber City, Va., or anytime at her residence.
Services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Don Large officiating.
Music will be provided by the Midway United Methodist Choir.
Burial will follow at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, Va.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews: Joe Davidson, Travis Ketron, Josh Ketron, Matthew Davidson, Terry Gillenwater, Jim Smith, Johnny Renfro, Mike Renfro and Jason Davidson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Smith, Sammy Gillenwater, Bobby Gillenwater, Bruce Culbertson and the Adult Sunday School Class of Midway United Methodist Church. at Bristol, Sullivan, Tennessee, US, at age 83.2

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Gillenwater; a grandson, David Gillenwater; sisters, Chloe Cleo Smith, Izetta Smith, Nila Smith, and Maxie Davidson; brothers, Rudolph Smith and Ralph Smith.
Surviving are her sons, Terry Gillenwater and wife, Dovie, Kingsport, Sam Gillenwater and wife, Joan, Kingsport and Bob Gillenwater and wife, Marie, Church Hill; four grandchildren, Mark Gillenwater and wife, Ellien, Kingsport, Amy Pettigerw and husband, Britt, Murfreesboro, Tenn., Pam Hutchson and husband, Kyle, Atlanta, Ga., Mindy Gillenwater, Church Hill; and seven great-grandchildren, Steven, Cory, Anthony, Blake, Austin, Abigail, McKinnley, Chase; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Colonial Funeral Home, Weber City, Va.
Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Bob Cloud officiating.
Graveside services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Holston View Cemetery. For those wishing to attend this service, please meet at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. to go in procession to the cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Richard Gillenwater, Larry Davidson, Jim Smith, Gary Smith, Paul Lane, Mike Renfro, John Renfro and Mark Gillenwater.
The Gillenwater family would like to thank the staff of Brian Center for their loving care and support.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Gideons International Scott County Camp, P.O. Box 845, Gate City, Va. 24251.
