Harrell III, Gregory Harrell and David Harrell.

Other church decorations included two nine-branched circular candelabra entwined with pink rosebuds against a background of greenery. Pink rosebuds, satin bows and leather leaves marked the honor pews. A single pink taper and greenery was placed in each window.

Linda Lou Tittsworth died on Dec 29, 2015 Linda Tittsworth Harrell, aged 72, died December 29, 2015 after a brief final illness complicating 27 years of slowly progressive disability due to multiple sclerosis. Always a leader, she was voted most outstanding in her high school class in Kingsport, TN. She was president of the School of Nursing student body at Vanderbilt University and was an officer in the Chancellor’s Student Leadership Council. After a few years of teaching in the Vanderbilt Nursing School and floor nursing in the University of Kentucky Medical Center, she retired from nursing to raise her three sons. She considered her involvement with them in church, school, sports and scouting to be her greatest achievement and was recognized for those activities when her family was voted “Family of the Year” by the Ocala Junior Woman’s Club in 1984. She was an active member of her church and despite the disabilities caused by her M.S. she continued to be involved and volunteer at various times with Hospice of Marion County, Meals on Wheels, Reading Pals and many other local charities. She was recognized by all whose lives she touched for her ability to know and feel their needs and willingness to offer of herself on their behalf.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Henry Harrell, Jr., M.D; three sons and their wives, Trey and Susan (Nashville), Greg and Stephanie (Ocala), and David and Emily (Alpharetta, GA); six grandchildren; sister Doris Begley (Bradenton); sisters-in-love Elaine McConnaughhay (Tallahassee), Martha Chumbler (Tallahassee) and Susan Robinson (Tallahassee); brother-in-law Frank Harrell (New Albany, IN); as well as many close friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her mother Gladys Switzer, step father Bob Switzer and brother Jim Tittsworth.
A memorial service will be held at 2 PM, January 9, 2015 at the First United Methodist Church, Ocala.
