First I direct that all my first debts and funeral expenses be paid by my
Executors.

2nd I give to my beloved wife Polly during her life, all of my negros,
money, debts and all my personal property of every description, except my

Polly the liberty of dividing, during her life the negros and property hereby
given her, or any portion of the same, among my children and the children
of my deceased son Emanuel Wolfe- But the said children of my said son
Emanuel are only to receive such portion as their father would be intitled to
if he were alive. At my wife's death I direct my Executors to divide the
negros, money, debts and other property which she may have on hand into
seven costs, and that my children draw on cost lots for the same said
Emanuels children and said Emanuels children drawing one lot and if my
Executors cannot agree on lotting off the said property, I direct that they
select two or three good and disinterested men to make the allotment. If my
wife should divide the property or any part of it during her life, and one

have received too much shall return a portion of the same, or pay in money
a sum sufficient to make them all equal.

I also give to my wife Polly during her life, a home on my home

the land which my son George Wolfe now lives, including in my said home
place the land to the top of the Mountain.

3rd. I give to my daughter Elizabeth Epperson, the wife of Stephan
Epperson, and to her heirs a boundary of fifty acres of land , more or less ,
off the land on which said Sally Wolfe now lives, running with a line made
and run by me, from Langfords' line to Oppossum creek.

I have heretofore advanced to my said daughter Elizabeth six
hundred dollars, which with the said boundary of about fifty acres will make
her equal in my lands with my other children.

4th I give to my son George Wolfe the land on which he now lives, it
being all of my land laying east of the conditional line made by me between
my home place and the land hereby given to my said son George .

I also give to my said son George Wolfe the east end of my
mountain land, which is all of that portion lying to east of a line to be run
due north from the little lick gap in the pine ridge. It being a part of the
same land conveyed to me by Thompson G. Martin, a commissioner of
forfeited and delinquent lands, by deed bearing date on the 26th day of
August 1841.

5th I give to my grandchildren, the children of Emanuel Wolfe my
deceased son, & wife, Malinda, Elizabeth, Margaret, William, John, James,
& George Wolfe the land on which their mother now lives, it being the land
lying west of the conditional line made by me between my home place and
the place hereby given to my said grand children, and extending to the top
of the mountain. But the boundary of about fifty acres given to my daughter
Elizabeth is excepted in this devise to my said grand children.

I direct that Polly Wolfe, the wife of my deceased son Emanuel, have
the use of the dwelling house and outbuilding and enough of the land hereby
given to my said grand children, for her support during her life, or while she
remains a widow.

6th I give to my daughter Elvira, the wife of John Dickerson, and to her
heirs, the land on which she and her husband now live, the same adjoining
the land of Preston V. Gaines of Sturgeons and Bellamy, and running with
a conditional line between the land hereby given and the land given to my
son Emanuel's children.

I have heretofore advanced to my said daughter Elvira the sum of
$300.00, which will make her equal in my land with my other children.

7th On the death of my wife Polly I give to my daughter Irene, the wife of
John Jett, one half of the land described and called in this Will on my home
place to be laid off according to quantity and quality so as to make it one
half in value. But it is my wish and earnest request, that my said daughter
Irene and her husband with my son Isaac and his wife, make a swap of
lands, so that my said daughter Irene will get my sons Isaac's wife's
interest in the land of James Jett deceased, and my son Isaac will get the
land hereby described to my said daughter Irene. I have heretofore made
advancements to my said daughter Irene, sufficient to make an exchange in
said lands, a fair and equal one without my son Isaac paying any difference.

home place to be laid off in quantity and quality so as to make it one half in
value, and I repeat the request that my son Isaac and his wife make the
exchange of lands, requested by me on my demise to my daughter Irene
Jett.

place during the life of my wife Polly.
